Over the last few months we have been working closely with the team at BrightWork to present to our mutual clients a united front not only in terms of the technical link between TimeControl and BrightWork that we released early this summer but also in the marketing, sales and technical support areas. BrightWork is a popular collaborative project management system based on SharePoint.
Driven by the CEOs of both firms, we have had numerous initiatives behind the scenes that will make using both products together even easier for prospective and existing clients.
BrightWork and TimeControl teams have extended their relationships to include training of the marketing, sales and support staffs.
You will now find information about TimeControl on the BrightWork websites and blogsites and information about BrightWork on our TimeControl websites and here on the blog. Also we’ve worked on increasing the availability of collateral and other internal training information for both teams.
BrightWork will even be featuring one of the BrightWork/TimeControl joint clients in an upcoming webinar.

In the coming weeks there will be even more news to share about the BrightWork / TimeControl link as the TimeControl Mobile app is launched for both Apple and Android devices. BrightWork clients who are using TimeControl will now be able to see and update their BrightWork tasks right on their mobile device.
The TimeControl / BrightWork integration is included at no cost with all versions of TimeControl both on premise and in the Cloud.
TimeControl and BrightWork have announced an integration between our products. This brings collaborative project and portfolio management together with enterprise timekeeping in an exciting blend of functionality.
Integrating TimeControl with BrightWork brings the best in breed collaborative project and portfolio management together with auditable labor actuals. Now enterprise timesheets from TimeControl can work seamlessly with the BrightWork project management system. The bidirectional link was designed collaboratively with HMS and BrightWork team members to bring BrightWork project and task information to TimeControl, present that information to end-users who can provide their end of day or end of week updates on these tasks along with any other non-project timesheet information at the same time then sends the information back to BrightWork.
Included with all versions of TimeControl the BrightWork integration means not only updating tasks in the project management system but simultaneously accommodating requirements for auditable labor and cost information for systems such as Billing, Payroll or Job Costing.

We’re delighted to announce that HMS Software and BrightWork have reached an agreement to work together as technical alliance partners. HMS Software CEO Chris Vandersluis and BrightWork CEO Éamonn McGuinness announced to their respective technical groups today that the two companies intend to work together to bring a BrightWork / TimeControl integration to market and to promote it through both firms.
“I’m very excited about this announcement,” our CEO, Chris Vandersluis explained. “HMS and BrightWork already have clients in common and Éamonn McGuinness and I agree that our clients will benefit from a bi-directional integration of our two systems.”
HMS will become a BrightWork Solution Partner. BrightWork will become an HMS Technical Alliance Partner under their respective programs.
Since 1995 BrightWork has become known worldwide as the publisher of its project management system based on Microsoft’s SharePoint and Office 365.
HMS is, of course, known around the world for our TimeControl enterprise timesheet system. The combination of both products will make for a powerful project control environment.
TimeControl already has a link from SharePoint and this link can be used by BrightWork customers already. In the coming weeks, the HMS development team will work with BrightWork technical personnel to complete a bi-directional link.
Further information on bringing this combination of best-in-class products to market will be released in the coming weeks as technical details and other collateral become available.
